This week on the Alabama Freshwater Fishing Report, we’ve got Steve “Graz” Graziano with Graz’s Guide Service on to talk Lake Eufaula Bass, Jake Vincent with East Alabama Fly Fishing on to give us Tallapoosa River tips, and Mark Wilson with McCoy Outdoor Co. on to let us know about some exciting changes at a long-time local favorite outdoor store..
First up, Graz reports that clients are putting fish in the boat with soft plastics and deep diving crankbaits in Lake Eufaula. Fishing is good, and Graz is pleased to announce that a “Graz Special” will soon be available from LS Lures.
Next we swing on over to the Tallapoosa River to talk with Jake Vincent of East Alabama Fly Fishing. While the Tallapoosa has not been immune to the high rains that have muddied most of the state’s waters, Jake is finding fish on buggy imitations of local crawfish and darters. Topwater is also producing in the mornings, and fishing overall has been good-to-great.
Finally, we have a special segment with Mark Wilson from McCoy Outdoor Company. McCoy has been in business for 50 years, and is a well-known fixture in the LA fishing community. Mark is excited to have taken over operations earlier this year, and is excited to carry on the traditions while bringing some exciting new things to the table.
