Ed Mashburn

Ed Mashburn is a retired public school teacher who lives just outside the city limits of Bay Minette, Alabama with his family, two pampered cats, and a flock of chickens. After graduating from college, he worked in small, rural schools in the Arkansas and Missouri Ozarks before moving to the Gulf Coast. He has published a number of books mostly about outdoor activities, rural living, and boating. His most recent book is Kayak Fishing the Northern Gulf of Mexico through Schiffer Press. His proudest achievement is helping raise his three kids- all of whom graduated from college and all of whom are working.
